I’m studying to get the certification. On a practice test there are two questions with two viable options as the answer.
1. Your buddies string a network wire across the hall to play Counterstrike during Lunch. Should you:
- A. Contact the supervisor
- B. Tell them to move it as this is dangerous
2. You get a bunch of new PCs and the boxes are left in the hall blocking the elevators and stairs. Should you:
- A. Contact the supervisor
- B. Tell them to move it as this is dangerous
Turns out, the wire is dangerous and someone could trip, so in that case, I should tell them to move it (I wish there was an option to call them virginal nerds and laugh at them). The boxes on the other hand, while causing a huge fire hazard, are not as dangerous as a wire. I should call the supervisor.
I just hope I can get 100% on the important info so when these horrible “safety” questions come up I have some breathing room.
